Honoured and humbled as our Artistic Director, Smita and Associate Director, Shreya graced the Buckingham Palace Garden Party, on 15th May 2024- a celebration made even more special as we begin to mark 35 incredible years of Nupur Arts!
Thank's to Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport and Arts Council England for recognising the hard work and dedication of Nupur Arts. The Creative Industries were widely celebrated this day and we thank Arts Council for the platform!

First Aid Training
Dancing our way to safety!
In April 2024, we traded our dance shoes for first aid kits and took part in First Aid Training with FirstOnScene! We are happy to share that the ENTIRE team at Nupur Arts are certified First Aid trained!
Inclusivity Training
Embracing diversity, one dance step at a time!
In May 2024, we took part in inclusivity training, led by the incredible team at We Are Epic UK! Their informative guidance paved the way to help make our work more accessible and inclusive, opening doors to a wider community!
NPO 2023-2026!
Nupur Arts have successfully been selected to join Arts Council England's National Portfolio Organisation for 2023-2026.
Peter Knott, Area Director for Arts Council England said: "We're delighted to be welcoming Nupur Arts to the portfolio as they engage with artists, practitioners, arts organisations and people of all ages, abilities and background. We look forward to seeing them continue their outreach workshops and performances, which allow more people to enjoy South Asian dance in Leicestershire and beyond.

Ānartam
Celebrating 10 years of Nartan Festival
Join us for the 10th anniversary of Ānartam, a festival that celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of South Asian classical dance. This unique evening showcases exceptional live performances in the heart of Leicester. From Bharatanatyam to Kathak, Odissi to Kandyan dance, artists from across the UK will explore the theme of Love and Devotion.
